Many years ago, my husband and I were returning from a trip, and as we came around a bend in the road, we saw this rusty, old car sitting in the middle of a field. We stopped and took some photos, and I painted this shortly thereafter.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a painter and my dream came true when I was nearing retirement and decided to try my hand at acrylic painting back in 2001.
