This watercolor painting was done en plein air in Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. Cuyahoga Valley is a much visited national park with lovely scenery, hiking trails, waterfalls, and skiing in winter.
About Lee Beuther
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a painter and my dream came true when I was nearing retirement and decided to try my hand at acrylic painting back in 2001. I quickly moved on from acrylics to watercolor, pastel, oil, encaustic, etc., always enjoying the experience of learning a new medium. I found that I love to experiment, play, and continually challenge myself to try new subject matter and/or new techniques. There is always something new to inspire me and keep me pushing myself to grow as an artist.
